You’ll never miss the heavy cream in this version of the classic recipe. It’s has rich chocolate flavor from unsweetened cocoa and sweetness from Pure Via Turbinado Raw Cane sugar and stevia blend sweetener. So go ahead – indulge!

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients
1 cup (250 mL) cold 2% milk
1 envelope unflavored gelatine
12 packets Pure Via Turbinado Raw Cane sugar and stevia blend sweetener
5 Tablespoons (75 mL) unsweetened cocoa
2 teaspoons (10 mL)vanilla extract
2- ½ cups (625mL) prepared lite whipped topping
Shaved chocolate (optional)

Directions
    Place milk in small saucepan. Sprinkle gelatine over milk. Let stand 2 minutes to soften. Stir in Pure Via Turbinado Raw Cane sugar and stevia blend sweetener. Heat on low heat 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until gelatin and Pure Via Turbinado Raw Cane sugar and stevia blend sweetener are completely dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa and vanilla until well blended.

    Pour mixture into a medium mixing bowl and let cool slightly. Gradually fold in whipped topping until blended. Pour mixture into 1 large bowl or individual serving dishes. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving. Garnish each portion with shaved chocolate, if desired.
