An easy to make dessert that is great for weekdays or the weekend. Buy extra cranberries when they are in season and keep them in your freezer so you can enjoy this dessert any time.
Makes 8 servings
3 cups (750 mL) peeled cored sliced baking apples
2 cups (500 mL) fresh or frozen thawed cranberries
24 packets Pure Via sweetener
1 cup (250 mL) uncooked old fashioned oats
2 tablespoons (30 mL) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) ground cinnamon
6 packets Pure Via sweetener
2 tablespoons (30 mL) butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Nutritional information (per serving)
For Filling, combine all ingredients. Spoon into a 10-inch (25cm) pie plate.
For Topping, combine dry ingredients. Stir in butter until all ingredients are coated. Sprinkle evenly over filling.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until fruit is tender. Serve warm or at room temperature.
