A tart/sweet salad made with broccoli florets, crisp bacon, red onions tossed in a tangy dressing. Add chopped pecans if you really want to be decadent!
Makes 8 servings
¾ cup (175 mL) reduced fat mayonnaise with olive oil
12 packets Pure Via sweetener
2 Tablespoons (30 mL) white vinegar
1 Tablespoon (15 mL) low fat 1% milk
6 cups (1.5 L) broccoli florets
1 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced
½ cup (125 mL) raisins
6 slices cooked drained crumbled turkey bacon
1/3 cup (75 mL) chopped pecans OR sunflower seeds (optional)
For Dressing, combine all ingredients until blended.

For Salad, combine all ingredients except bacon and nuts. Toss gently with Dressing until all ingredients are well coated. Refrigerate, covered, several hours or overnight. Sprinkle with bacon and nuts when ready to serve.
